Frequency-Doubled Ion Laser System

The Innova 90C FRED, using the technique of intracavity frequency -doubling (second harmonic generation) with β Barium Borate (BBO), produces continuous wave (cw) laser light in the 229.0 to 264.3 nm region. Output is provided at seven different wavelengths in this deep-UV region, with specified output powers up to 100 mW.

  • PowerTrack active cavity stabilization assures lowest noise, best transverse mode, and highest stability

  • Sentry System provides hands-off operation via Search-and-Tune and Automatic Mode Control
  • Integral Heat Exchanger ensures superior cooling temperature control for enhanced stability
